1010 lures you in over the phone with fake prices(notice they are not posted anywhere), and when you show up you are faced with a morphing story and slimy sales tactics. When you get down to sign, you find it is actually 30-40% more than you were told initially. Anyone who has looked at similar places has probably noted some elements of this, but 1010 seems to be really over the top, I couldn't believe it.You can clearly see the above 'review' was written by the company itself and not a tenant. Not only does it seem like a weird place, the management is dishonest right from the get go. Avoid.

Just moved in. It's a bit like living in a hotel--its nice, but very corporate. The place is very clean. Staff is nice. Rooms are furnished right down to the forks and the TV in the bathroom. Roof top has a small pool and gym, and serves beer and wine most nights. The high rent keeps the kids away, so the place is pretty quiet. Windows are triple pane so even though you are near the 110, I hear nothing. And the view of downtown at night is really spectacular. There is no real neighborhood. But you can walk to Takami or Bodegga. 24hr valet with secure on site parking. If you want to live downtown and have a nice car, I think this is the place for you.Only real issue I have is that there is no storage, either in the units or on-site. Luckily there is a self storage place just down the street. About that bait and switch review. I experienced something like that too. I did get a different price on the phone than when I showed up. I confronted the person that gave me the wrong price, but it sounded like he just started and made an honest mistake. Maybe Im just naive. Caveat emptor...

My husband and I stayed there for a short business trip. We were told that we would receive our security deposit back within 21 days. As of right now it has been 51 days since we left and we still have not received the check equaling $850. Their staff has been less than helpful and very vague when explaining why they did not uphold the 21 days. The apartment was nice and modern. I will give them that. The location is more for people who work 9-5 in downtown LA. After about 6pm the streets surrounding the property are deserted except for a few bums. I actually had to bolt the door when showering due to the housekeeping crew walking in our unit without anyone opening the door.....they just used their key and walked straight in. Bottom line: I would not recommend this property to anyone. If I do not receive my check soon I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

300!Modern, fully furnished loft spaces available for rent, with a focus on the Corporate and Entertainment industries. Next to the Hollywood Center Studios and on the west borders of downtown Los Angeles, I attended the tour and opening reception party on the rooftop complete with a pool and terrific views. Admittedly, I am slightly swayed by the grand treatment we received, including a red carpet, sushi, short ribs, a chocolate table, dancing, great bar, photographers, hookah, foot and shoulder massages, pretty young ladies serving and directing the crowd, along with a swag bag upon exit. Completed in early 2008, the following is from their website:At TENTEN, all suites are designated Live/Work, so conducting business from home in a professional manner just became possible. Basic utilities are all included in these fully furnished luxury suites, further simplifying an otherwise busy life. There are no short-term lease fees, making TENTEN the perfect option, whatever your needs may be. TENTEN Wilshire, a new lifestyle solution for professionals wanting to live, work, and play...no matter how long or short your stay.
