The Wood's finest in fast Mexican Food. I've been born on raised on their Carne Asada burrito with chips. It's got just the right amount of salsa (go spicy) with beef, cheese, and guacamole. I always savor it down to the end with some of that good juice flowing down (no sex pun intended?). Goes great with a soda or horchata. Lay off that Chipotle for once and try some real burritos.

Fresh, good and fastIts not a 5 star restaurant but it is a 5 star place to get quick and easy Mexican food. Simple menu and inexpensive. Free chips. The salsa bar is great and the horchata is top notch. If you are looking for a place that is like a typical sit down restaurant then go somewhere else. If you are looking for good simple Mexican food quickly then you have found your place

Don Amigos Tacos al Carbon is a treasured local favorite that I have been attacking for years. This is ok Mexican food. Not spectacular, not nasty. Just solidly well done. Its fast, its taste never changes over time, and you get the chips with your food when you order. Right now I am developing a pet peeve towards Mexican restaurants that don't include chips when you order. I've found that if you have to pay for chips, the food tends to fall short of basic flavor - with a few exceptions here and there. The burrito can be a little bit juicy at times so be sure to grab a napkin. My favorite item here has to be the quesadillas. If you are around the neighborhood this is not a bad spot to check out for a quick lunch with some friends. It is located relatively close to the 405 and Randy's Donuts. Thus home is never that far away if you are afraid of "the wood" and you can get some tasty sweets to compliment that sugar rush you got when you drank the horchata. Three stars instead of four because they have no public bathroom - I still love Don Amigos though. It has a special place in my heart. Be sure to check out the store next door. The little market just happens to be the secret hookah capital of Inglewood that nobody ever talks about. I don't smoke, but I'm still upset that no one ever mentioned to me that such a spot existed. I refuse to believe I am the first in uncharted waters.
