Tarzana Car Wash and Detailing

As a former New Yorker I got into the habit of leasing metallic colored vehicles so that when it rained - my car essentially got washed.  It was not a cheap thing - just a lazy habit and in New York where women don't judge you by the model and make of your automobile, I was doing just fine with my "Natural Car Wash."  But since it rains in Los Angeles as much as people who say "I am in the middle of projects" then go on to win Oscars, I had to find a car wash to make my Honda Accord look professionally and personally "acceptable." Professionally - in LA this means that it can't look too good since that might convey a message that I make too much money which would rightfully piss off production folks who bust their ass for little or no money yet it can't look too "pedestrian" that it would embarrass the superficial film executives with very small penises who would then have to disassociate themselves from me.  Personally - I want to strike the right balance so that until a nice woman falls in love with me she gives me the benefit of the doubt and thinks I put all my money into some ridiculous Hollywood Hills estate or Malibu beach house.  With those variables to consider, I stumbled upon this place and it was very cool, easy and affordable.   So, I figured I was fine with the Key Grip folks, the small penis crowd and with the sexy, sassy and smart woman who I will win over with my sense of humor before she finds out that I live in an apartment in Santa Monica.I also learned that is a "Hand Wash" establishment and if you have a Ferrari or are so ego-centric that you get off by having as many people work for you as possible,  I imagine that is very important (but for the complete ego maniac I personally recommend you look into getting Pedicures and have 3 very attractive women massage your feet instead of 3 guys scrubbing dirt off your fender) but since I mistakenly thought by analogy it had something to do with a Massage Parlor saying they do "Full Release" (hey - this is LA - anything is possible) - it was not a factor in my decision-making.  In all seriousness, you should check this place out as every worker seemed to take great pride in their respective duties and that means a lot to me and is something to be respected and is a reason I will continue to use this car wash.  (However, if they discontinue the "Full Release" special - I might go elsewhere but .....)   JUST KIDDING - this is a GREAT Car Wash.

So I went here yesterday on basis of reviews here.  Well, $26 for what I got was a rip..   Sure it was dirty going in, and looked better on the exit, but there were still spots, still dirt marks, and the vacuum job was a bit half assed imo.  I mean, they didn't even do the trunk..  Out of all the guys who had a hand in the job, only two were worthy of anything.  One was one of the wash guys, the older one, and the other was one of the dry guys.  The other wash guy was worthless, and the other dry guy was half assed and well I never watched the vacuum guy but the job speaks for itself.  I won't be going back...   Why is finding a good car wash so friggen hard to find...

I've been going to this car wash for a while and I haven't had a problem until the other day when the guy who worked on my car forgot the deodorizer squares on top of my console instead of putting them on the floor under the seats. I didn't notice until later that same day and when I went to remove them they had melted the plastic on my console. I took the car back the following day and asked them to cover the cost of a new console. One of the supervisors were really nice but the other one tried to blame me for not removing the deodorizers sooner. I asked for the owner who never bothered to come out and talk to me, instead he sent a supervisor to offer me a free car wash!!! It was really upsetting! I refused the car wash and said I needed to see the owner but then I was told he had left (even though his car was in the back). I was given the runaround like you won't believe!! I'm now taking this to the small claims court just on principle because I'm disgusted that they won't take responsibility for their mistake. I used to really like this place but after all this is over I will never come back here again. They are ok as long as nothing happens but if it does I think you will be disappointed with them.

They are the greatest car detailers.I have been going there since I was a kid and the quality and service that they provide is next to none.They took my dirty red car and made it shine like when it was new.I pass by 4 other car washes to go there from my office weekly.I often also go to Cupids Hotdogs or ask for a coffee and a Hookah pipe while I wait.They do it all there.
