Great Hookah place, although I wish they had mint so that I could try it. I'm not a big fan of hookah, but my friend raves about how good mint is. Regardless of the fact that it's a bit pricey, it's a great hangout place. You can chill for hours..too bad they don't give free refills.

I visited the Village for dinner alone since I was on a business trip. The food was very good and the portions were large. In addition to what I ordered they brought four other side dishes. The waiter was very helpful and friendly and even brought me samples of things I wasn't familiar with. I am looking forward to going back with friends.

I've been here 3 times. 2 times to watch my friends Hookah and one time to eat.My first timeI order the deep fried goat cheese. It was basically sharp cheese that is extremely oily. It was so oily the the oil dripped down to my elbows. Ugh gross! My third timeThis place does not like large groups of asian college students. Once we sat down the employees put a big frown on their face. We said "hello" to them and greeted them with smiles anyways. The owner came and took our order. Half of us just wanted to order drinks and half of the people wanted to smoke Hookah. The owner look frustrated because every other person was NOT smoking. He said that we were all going to be charged an additional sitting fee even though we were not smoking. We looked at him in confusion because we were not aware that this place had a sitting fee. I don't remember the exact price he was charging but it was somewhere around $20. It was enough to make us say "WELL FUCK THATTTTTTTTTT." So we left and they lost 15 customers. I'm appalled at how the owner treated us. We were not even rude. In fact most places loveeeee to have us.Goodbye.

This is an Interesting place beloved by Bradbury locals, great owner and friendly staffs, large outdoor seating area, entertainment (belly dancers) on weekends, average foods, non-alcoholic beverages only, they feature a special hookah menu and it's very popular, so bring a mask if you are allergied to smoke.

Let me start off by saying that the service here could not be better. Ever since I first tried this place, it has been my hookah joint of choice (and I live a good 5-7 miles away) and now I am a loyal customer. The drive is definitely worth it.Whenever I bring my friends here to hookah, the friendly staff helps you with whatever you are looking for, whether it be your first time or if you need help with some suggestions on good flavors. Those who rate this restaurant below a 4 or a 5 must have mistaken it for another restaurant because the service here is absolutely amazing. The prices are reasonable (flavors are always awesome) and the environment is spacious and ideal for a relaxing, fun time with friends and family. Dim lights and ornaments along with clean tables comfortable chairs (unlike most hookah places) make The Village a nice place to chill and socialize.Although they don't give free refills, the great time you'll have definitely makes up for it. There's a waiter there that I always look for, who always makes sure my friends and I have a good time and is a major reason why I will keep coming back over and over again. To sum it all up: great staff service, ideal environment for hookah, chilling and eating, you'll always a good time. Best hookah joint in the 626 area in my opinion.

This place is an experience.Beyond the food, what is the best thing is that this is the only restaurant establishment around that allows you to BRING YOUR OWN ADULT BEVERAGES. And no, they will not charge you a pouring fee. They will provide you with glasses and ice!No other restaurant in SoCal has such a committed wait staff as this one. They are simply a class act.Great outdoor ambiance. Even in winter, they take care of you by bringing heaters. We always get the 20 plate special for $100. A total steal. As you will sample a little of all of their cuisine. Which is simply amazing. If you are a novice, they will describe the dishes and tell you its history. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, you will not be disappointed in their selection. We have heard of the belly dancers but have never seen them though. Plenty of parking and very family focused environment. This is a definite must stop place for anyone hosting out of town guests. If you are into the hookah thing, you won't be disappointed either. Quite a flavor selection....The staff takes your visit their seriously. Based on what or how you order, they will immediately know whether you know their food or not. If you don't you will be continuously surprised with other plates of dishes to try and sample.

This place was definitely one of the best Hookah Restaurants I've been to. It's not only a fun place to hang out with your friends and family, but the waiters there are very friendly and entertaining. The waiters there don't just do their job, but they treat you as a friend which is awesome. They also surprise us with something every time. The first time we went there, the waiter that we had spoke many different languages. He had conversations with my friend in Chinese which was very entertaining to watch and listen to. There were more surprises but you will have to go there and figure it out yourself. There are many flavors for the hookah, and all the flavors that I got were delicious. Not only were they good, but you have your own bucket of coals which is convenient unlike other Hookah places where you have to ask the waiter for coals which take forever. Even though there is a minimum charge for everyone who goes there, it is still definitely worth it because you could stay there as long as you want and you'll never get tired of being there. The environment there is also nice. It makes you feel like you're actually in the middle east. I am going to continue coming to this place not only for the hookah, but also for the food and the entertainment given by the waiters.

Let me start this 2-star review by saying I think the food here is decent. Though priced a bit high this is some of the better mediterranean cuisine I've had this side of Beirut. With hookah and no fear of impending suicide bombing this place has it all! .... except for acceptable service. At this point I've given the Village enough chances so here goes:1. Understaffed so servers generally disregard couples. I'm talking about servers that visit the table 2-3 times the entire meal, and that include when the food is brought.2. Better service for arabs than whitey. Lucky for me, not so much for you. 3. The food is priced on the higher side for this type of cuisine. Unless you're really in the mood to smoke a hookah do yourself a favor and skip the ethnic favoritism and weak service here and instead try Janet's Mediterranean Cuisine nearby on Huntington instead. Better food, better price, better service.

hmm. had a bit of a mixed experience here. we came to eat AND hookah. did both. here is what i took away from it..the food was good. it was tasty, there was a decent amount, and the prices werent too extreme. didnt take too long to arrive at our table, and the food was hot when it came. so, yes, the food here is decent.the hookah was okay. the peach one was a bit light, and the melon one was a bit strong. but the cleanliness and everything in that aspect seemed on par. wouldnt mind going back to hookah again.the service was questionable. as we ordered the peach hookah, we were told that each hookah is for two people, and since we had three people, we'd have to order another one (hence the melon one). hmm, kind of shady.. especially since the three of us couldnt even finish both. a bit irritating when we were forced to dish out another $15 for the second hookah when we didnt even really want it. they also automatically include the hookah tip, which was $10.80 for the three of us. the waiter explained it's charged per person, and this tip goes to the person who cleans the hookah and brings over the charcoal. um, okay. a little strange that they couldnt just split wutever tip we decided to give with the hookah guy. our waters were also bottled, which were $2 each. the food and hookah turned out to be a total of $80 for the three of us, including tip and tax. a little steep, in my opinion, especially since a lot of the stuff that we were charged for were either things that seemed like we werent supposed to be charged for, or we were forced to be charged for.so, i dont know if i'd come back. the food and hookah were decent enough, but i dont like going to restaurants and come out feeling like i have just been conned.
