Video 94

okay yeah, this place doesn't look the best. nor is it the best. it is a little ghetto and there is taging around the building. and sure it should be called SMOKING 94 cause thats what it seems like the specialize in. with glass cabinets that contain bongs and pipes. and a wall full of tobacco. but if you are looking for a new movie they will have it. and it only cost 2 dollars. but you can only keep it for 24 hours. but really who needs it for longer?

This place is no Blockbuster or Hollywood but then that's a good thing. The best thing about Video 94 is it's open most days until 3am. The next best thing is that they get most of their DVDs a week before it's out. So if you can't sleep or you suddenly get the urge to watch a late night movie with a few friends, shell out 2 bucks and you're good for the next 2 hours. Oh, and for those who'll find this helpful, they sell cigars (i think) and pipes.

this place gets a 5 because of its contribution to the street fighter community...it's only a QUARTER TO PLAY STREET FIGHTER 4!the cheapest in the nation...and sometimes the pro players would show up late nights after Super arcade and Arcade Infinity close up shop.very reminiscent of the liquor store arcade machine days...thank god for video 94ohh yea... they also rent dvds, games, and sell cigarettes bongs...who knew...?

Street Fighter IV - A quarter, good competition, sanwa joystick and buttons.Tekken 6 - A quarter, sanwa stick and buttons.Games, bongs, pipes, hookah tobacco, cigs, and movies too. Yessssssssssssss.

this is the better video 94 compared to the one of colima in rowland heights. theres arcades, and a smoke shop. its a weird combination of things. Smoke shop has cheap stuff.

Awesome Movie Rental / Arcade / Smoke Shop Place. Yup. its the only place i know that has great selection of movies, has an arcade game (street fighter iv and tekken 6) and sell hookahs!! So for all you sfiv players out there u can practice here a lot since its on 25c a game!!

Haha, I tried to keep my yelping strictly to night spots and restaurants but I gotta put up some props for Video 94.  For the most part it is another ghetto video store, although I have to give them huge credit for somehow managing to get movies about a week before the other stores do and yes they are real movies, not bootlegs.  Searching for anything not new can be a little of a task as everything is arranged by first letter and not much else, although they usually will have most of your favorites (Blockbuster doesn't carry Big Top Pee Wee) and I even found a couple Sirk films there and Pasolini's Mama Roma.  I will admit two bucks per rental is a little steep considering there are late fees but still renting is pretty easy.

So what if their walls get tagged up every week and teeniebopper gangsters hang out here sometimes...okay, so ghetto blockbuster is the best way to describe Video 94. But they have the BEST selection of porn behind their red curtains in town! Yes I said it, of course I watch them for the great storylines and acting...who doesn't? If your dad or uncle is missing at 1 am, they're probably here behind the curtains stocking up on a week's worth of skin flicks behind their wives back.... The other great thing about this place is that they get new DVD releases a week before they're out at other places. How they do it, I have no idea...but they stock them deep, so getting a copy isn't much of a problem. They also sell their extra copies after a few weeks for $10 a pop or 5 DVDs for $40. Rental here runs you a couple of bucks. They also carry a wide selection of foreign, hard to find films, and videogames for every game system out there. Just ask the employee on duty and he'll be more than happy to help you out. The owner of this place is this crazy little Middle Eastern Guy named Dave...don't get him started on any conversations, he'll keep you there all night with his nonsense babbling...just grab your movies, pay, and go.
