What a restaurant! lets start with the service, it was bad and not friendly at all with a middle eastern attitude. now lets talk about food, it was bad, cold and didn't look fresh.the night we ate there my husband and I got very sick we had to go the ER because we were in pain and we vomitted all what we ate at Andaluz restaurant, we were told it was food poisoning. the restaurant does not look clean, the table was not cleaned we have to ask waiter to clean it. everything about this restaurant was nasty. i will never eat there again and i will make sure to let all my family and friends know about this place, NOT to eat there.
i advise you to do major cleaning and follow the rules and regulations of the Healh Department. and also the workers need to be friendly, hospitable and speak english.
you need major improvement to the whole restaurant, managing this reastaurant needs someone with experience in service and the quality of food.
i recommend a meeting of all the employees and managment/owner.
Good Luck!!

i disagree with troy because the meat they served me was very tender, steaming hot, and juicy. big plates, good portions, and fair prices. it's a good place to go.

This has to be one of my favorite Arab restaurants. The people are so friendly and the hummus is so good. My favorite is the lentil soup, it's amazing. The falafel is delicious as well.

Another great Kabob place. I think I liked the food at Olive Tree a bit better. Here, I tried the Beef Shawarma and Chicken Shawarma. Both good, a bit dry though. Next time, I think I want to try the Kafta(ground beef) plate. Again, big menu with lots of Mediterranean choices!!! Thanks Sammy the taxi man!

I had a http://restaurant.com coupon for Kareem's down the street but they were closed on a Friday night! Ok, driving back down the street, see a schwerma sign, ok let's check it out. When you first look at it, seems like a take out joint, but they've got an attached seating area. Food roundup:Potatoes: I was hoping it was in big chunks and swimming in lemon juice like at Open Sesame. Here instead, the potatoes are a 1/2 inch or so dice and fried. Then there's some seasoning, kinda reminds me of what middle eastern home fries might be.Kebab combo: The bf got this and the chicken was pretty juicy. What I kept picking off the plate was the rice.....so BUTTERY! The rice is definitely the winner here, think of Wahoo's ahi rice but with each grain coated in butta baby.Falafel combo: Nice and not too dense, very tasty and since they give you plenty of lavosh as the bread basket, made some mini falafel sammiches. They forgot to sub my hummus for baba ganoush so they brought out a huge side dish of it, very tasty, could've been a bit smokier though.Lowdown: I'd say a solid 3 overall. You can tell it's a place for the locals to hang out, the outdoor seating is like a permanent event tent. Almost everyone's got a hookah and just chillin with a few tv's playing some Arabic? music videos. Food is decent, gotta get some of that rice and we spent $31 on food . I think I want to try some other places along this "Gaza Strip" of OC before giving them anything higher. BTW, we came in and looked like there was a buffet, so not sure if that was a private party or their offering for that evening. Most everyone was doing that, but we didn't know what was going on so we just ordered off the menu.
