Check out this place on Thursday nights.  There is salsa dancing and friendly people to meet.  The DJ plays a mixture of salsa, merengue, bachata, and cha cha. The people are unpretentious and love to dance.  Maybe I'll see you on the dance floor.

I got the opportunity to venture out to Silhouette last night.  Thursday nights are salsa nights are they are picante! Ay! Ay! Ay! I was lucky to have my own personal dance instructor, but, there are a ton of talented dancers that are very nice and willing to show you the ropes. Can't get much more straightforward than that really.  The club is a little small, but everyone fit fine and there is a dance performance at 11.  Last nights made me a little uncomfortable, but I'm a tough sell. I can't wait to continue to learn!

thursday salsa nighthookah, food, full bar, and thursday salsa night.. no cover with meal and they dont mind if you get trashed.. :)

This is the nicest (as in friendly-ness) Salsa Club in LA; hence my favorite.The dancers are super friendly here and everyone make it a point to make you feel welcome if they see you're new; the guy at the door (Gary) on Thursday night are  nice and willing to chat with you when you're out on the patio cooling off; and the cover charge come with a bottle of water, how cool is that?Too bad it's so freaking far :(
